Colorado gold rush participant. M.W. Kerwin apparently traveled in 1860 to Colorado from Chicago with a company consisting of Joseph McMullen and Mssrs. Cass, Dowling, Lambert, Roydon, and Fulton, who are mentioned in the accounts. From St. Joseph, Mo., they journeyed overland to the Platte River road, and then took the Pike's Peak trail cutoff to Denver.
